Freeplay Dodgeball

With our Summer DODGEBALL season launching soon, we thought we’d hold a Free Play Dodgeball night for everyone to learn the sport and get involved!

The event is open to everyone and will be a great way to learn the rules and meet cool/fun loving people (like yourself).  Those that have never played before are welcomed and encouraged to join in!

You will also have the opportunity to score a discount into our Dodgeball league on the night of this event!

At this event you will be matched with other teammates and play a couple of Dodgeball  games. Don't worry, we will teach you EVERYTHING you need to know. Beginners are always welcome and those that have played before are welcome to come down and check out why Urban Rec is different from your ordinary Dodgeball league. Everything is provided by Urban Rec, just bring your bad-ass self and some fun-loving friends.

What to expect?

  • 6:30 – Arrive and introduce yourself to an UR Event Host.
  • 6:45 – The Event Host will go through all the rules + a few demos. They will then split you into teams.
  • 7:00 – 8:00 – Teams will play social games of Dodgeball in true UrbanRec style.
  • 8:15 – Head to our clubhouse, The Railway Hotel, for some post game beverages.

There will be opportunities for you to register for our Dodgeball league if you’re not already registered.

This is a special FREE event with only 30 tickets available, so make sure you grab your tickets online for you and a friend.  There are limited tickets available so be sure to register ASAP before they are all gone.
