Freeplay Hockey

With our Summer Hockey season launching in Feb, we thought we’d host a Free Play HOCKEY night for everyone to learn the sport and get involved!

The event is open to everyone and will be a great way to learn the rules and meet cool/fun loving people (like yourself).  Those that have never played before are welcomed and encouraged to join in!

At this event you will be matched with other teammates and play a couple of Hockey games. Don't worry, we will teach you EVERYTHING you need to know. Beginners are always welcome and those that have played before are welcome to come down and check out why Urban Rec is different from your ordinary Hockey league. Everything is provided by Urban Rec, just bring your bad-ass self and some fun-loving friends.

What to expect?

• 6:30 – Arrive and introduce yourself to an UR Event Host.
• 6:45 – The Event Host will go through all the rules + a few demos. They will then split you into teams.
• 7:00 – 8:00 – Teams will play social games of Hockey in true UrbanRec style.
• 8:15 – Head to our clubhouse, The Three Crowns Hotel, for a beer and to socialize with new friends!

There will be opportunities for you to register for our upcoming Hockey league if you’re not already registered.

This is a special FREE event with only 20 tickets available, so make sure you grab your tickets online for you and a friend.  There are limited tickets available so be sure to register ASAP before they are all gone.
